  • Co-Founder / President
    Masashi Tanaka

    Graduating in business management from the premier Meiji University in Japan, Masashi started his career in the legal and credit division of Nagase & Co, Ltd, Japan’s largest chemicals trading company, before moving on as a business consultant in another Japanese start-up company, Uzabase Inc that IPO in Tokyo and subsequently was posted to Singapore’s company Uzabase Asia Pacific Pte Ltd as a senior consultant.
    Prior to founding NOBOS, he was the Business Development Manager at No Wall Pte Ltd where he was involved in several ICO projects on partnerships and alliances, as well as fund raising for business expansion.
    These past five years have honed his business sense, and it is this sense that NOBOS is his new battleground to forge and lead business deals and liaisons in the world of cryptocurrency, building a company from ground up.

  • Chief Executive Officer
    Andrew Leelarthaepin

    Andrew brings to the company nearly two decades of experience in the financial markets industry, where he has held leadership roles and ran distribution businesses across Asia-Pacific for the world’s largest financial institutions. He has dealt extensively over a broad range of financial asset classes including foreign exchange, equities, futures and derivatives, and has a strong understanding of both OTC and exchange-traded market structures.
    Prior to joining NOBOS, Andrew ran the foreign exchange business for CGS-CIMB Securities, where he built and developed the FX trading platform for the APAC franchise. Before that, Andrew spent 3 years at Saxo Bank, spearheading the distribution of FX connectivity and running solution sales in Singapore. Prior to that, Andrew has also held senior positions at ICAP, ADSS and MF Global.

    Jane Huang

    Jane has over 20 years’ experience in the accounting and finance sectors, with both private and public-listed Singapore and regional organisations. Her experience in accounting and finance includes IPO listings, group financing, accounting, reporting, tax planning, compliance and risk control, strategic planning, project investment and mergers and acquisitions activities, and investor relations etc.
    Prior to joining NOBOS, Jane held positions as Chief Financial Officer or Group Financial Controller for EC World Asset Management Pte Ltd, TTCL Power Holdings Pte Ltd (formerly Toyo Thai Power Holdings Pte Ltd)., Q&M Dental Group (Singapore) Limited, and Guoson Investment Company Limited (a 100%-owned subsidiary and China headquarters of GuocoLand Limited Group, and a member of the Hong Leong Group). Jane is a Fellow member of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a Chartered Accountant of Singapore.

    Akira Kawakami

    Akira has over 20 years’experience developing and managing various ICT systems. He is familiar with a variety of ICT technology, especially network, data storage, database and cloud computing for large systems such like telecommunication, datacentre, internet service provider, cloud service company, bigdata company etc.
    He was CEO of Indigo Corporation, a Japanese system integrator. He graduated from Tokyo University with a bachelor’s degree in 1998 and joined Indigo as a founder when he was a student. So he knows intimately the ups and downs of a start-up company.
    As CTO in NOBOS, he focuses on blockchain technology and big data, where he manages huge transactional data of NOBOS exchange system. His vision is to cherry-pick emerging technologies and use them as NOBOS’ legacy, in tandem with NOBOS’mission.

    Wilfred Goh

    Wilfred is a qualified lawyer in Singapore, UK and Australia. His experience includes working as a senior legal practitioner in Singapore for 17 years and thereafter as an in-house legal and compliance professional holding senior positions and key management positions in AIG Group, Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance, Emirates Credit Information Ltd and fintech start-up companies. Developing a compilation of best practice compliance policies and operational procedures for various jurisdictions in previous roles adds another milestone to his achievements.

He led the technology and marketing for an e-Commerce start-up that IPO in Australia (ASX: DMC) within three years, before moving to Standard Chartered Bank to manage key global digital initiatives. Believing in the potential of the blockchain, he was the first employee at Huobi Global HQ based in Singapore, and became the operation lead for global outreach.

    Terri Tan

    Terri graduated from Nanyang Technological University and started out her career as an FX Broker with ICAP dealing with institutional clients. She progressed to carve a career in the private banking sector and has worked in Deutsche Bank, BNP Paribas and UBS, where she managed high net worth individuals in the India and Southeast Asia markets. Seizing on an opportunity to switch into fintech, Terri took up a business development role with one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges, Huobi, and spearheaded the company’s expansion into the regional markets.

    Simeon Ang

    Simeon is the sole content person taking care of mainstay content products such as FAQs and the investor education suite. In addition, he carries out secondary research of the cryptocurrency marketplace to provide actionable content for investors. Previously, Simeon was in a similar position with Huobi Global, and spearheaded the company’s investor education programme – Introduction to Bitcoin and Blockchain Technology – in partnership with NTUC Learning Hub. Before that, Simeon accumulated over 7 years of experience in equity analysis as an equity analyst at Maybank Kim Eng, where he shortlisted and recommended companies ranging from mining stocks to consumer discretionaries to telcos.

    Nicholas Chan

    Topping the business school in Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Nicholas started his career in operations and sales roles in Singaporean banks. Thereafter, he worked as a Business Analyst for Tata Consultancy Services where he and a team of 10 managed regulatory reporting projects for Deutsche Bank. Nicholas was then introduced to the blockchain and cryptocurrency in 2017, and he saw an opportunity and future in blockchain technology so he took up an operations and community role in Huobi Global, the top three cryptocurrency exchange in the world handling user growth and managing communities for Southeast Asia.

    Mohammed Abdul Rahman

    Abdul Rahman has more than 18 years of experience and expertise in managing operations of IT hardware, software, communications and/or application solutions for different organisations like IBM, NEC, DBS, NOL, Jurong Town Corporation, Micro Focus and Micros Fidelio. He also led a team of resources required to plan for developing, delivering and supporting IT services and products deployed to clients. His role includes preparation for new or changed services, management of the change process and performance management of implemented solutions.

Among these, he was CEO Telefónica Data Uruguay where he launched the companies LMDS high speed internet data network. He later started Latin America’s first mobile payment platform Debifone, and designed and implemented a Big Data Business Intelligence Platform for Nestle, Peru. In 2018 he founded Light47 a Blockchain and Crypto services company that draws on an extensive worldwide partner network to provide business with a full range of ICO advisory services. He is also spearheading the development of Crypto Bay Montevideo to create a community of service providers and businesses to help Uruguay join the club of Crypto-friendly jurisdictions.

    Aaron K. Wong

    Aaron is a multi-linguist international lawyer and corporate finance professional who speaks English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Bahasa, Japanese and a few other European languages. He studied law in the UK.
    After graduation from the UK, he was briefly interning for the UK judiciary before holding senior positions in major conglomerates as well as in consulting for a major Big 4 financial services group after having worked for major regional law firms specializing in corporate, corporate finance, IPOs, start ups, FMCG and other transactional matters.
    Aaron has accumulated a lot of cross border business experiences with his language skills, mainly with conglomerates as well as family offices based in Southeast Asia, Europe, HK and Japan, where he has provided advisory for M&A, strategic alliances, FDI, legal affairs, asset management, financing, etc. He has also advised ICOs, fund raising and legal risks through his established consulting firm.
